In North America, Vopak operates 10 strategically-located terminals - 7 in the United States, 1 in the Bahamas and 2 in Canada - used mainly for the storage of chemicals. At the terminals in Los Angeles (USA), Hamilton (Canada) and the Bahamas Vopak is also active in oil storage. In North America Vopak operates ver 5.7 million cbm storage capacity. With terminals in Deer Park and Galena Park, Houston is one of Vopak’s hub locations besides Rotterdam/Antwerp and Singapore. The remaining terminals above all fulfil an import and distribution function. In North America, Vopak stands out against the competition due to the flexible deployability of its terminals for the storage of a very wide range of products. Thanks to this flexibility, Vopak maintains excellent relations with its key customers, a fact increasingly reflected in multiyear contracts.
